Find some free stencils on the web and trace onto felt. Cut your pieces and use blanket stitch to outline the ornaments. I think embroidery thread works best.
If you like, embellish the pieces. Clear seed beads enhance the bow, handstitched by yours truly. I love the juxtaposition of sparkle paired with rustic materials.
Make some hot chocolate - or a hot toddy if you prefer - settle in near the fire, and stitch some up for yourself or friends.
Very cute! Love the simplicity and they look easy! What a warm, rustic feel they'd give your tree (OR great hanging tag for a gift).
